Who are you favorite band (s)?
AC/DC, Led Zeppelin,Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, STYX and Van Halen are my top 6
What are some of your other hobbies/interests?
Video and Audio recording and editing. I’ve made some really cool background videos for AZ/DZ and we have finally been able to put them to use.
What made you want to play in an AC/DC Tribute band?
In one of my first cover bands we did a couple AC/DC songs that I would sing and after our set people would come up to me and tell me how much I sounded like Bon and Brian. I loved seeing some of the tribute bands that would play in AZ and it just got me thinking maybe this is what I was meant to do. I also owned some SG guitars because I have played guitar since I was 10 years old and Gibson guitars have always been my favorite.
How many AC/DC Concerts have you attended and/or your favorite AC/DC Concert?
I have been to 5 AC/DC concerts and was lucky enough to catch them on the Rock or Bust tour twice before the issue with Brian Johnson’s hearing. The one that stands out the most would be the first time I seen them in 1985 and watching Angus Young’s energy on stage was something that blew me away!
Your favorite AC/DC Moment or Story?
At the time it was happening I didn’t know it was going to be my favorite moment, but seeing Brian Johnson in Las Vegas NV the 2nd show of the last 10 he would most likely ever perform with the band has to be my favorite moment up to this point. The band was really on fire and hitting on all cylinders and Brian’s voice was really on that night.
Anything else you want to say?
Just that AZ/DZ is just something I have always done with a passion. It’s really a labor of love for me. I am glad that people get to enjoy the shows, and relive a little of that past moment when AC/DC was melting our face of with razor tight rhythms and loud Marshall stacks. I hope we can bring that live AC/DC experience with a Hell’s Bell and Cannons blasting for the finally just like the boys from down under would want it.
